Open Arms Aashiana (OAA) for South Asian women is a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to providing battered and abused women and children a safe haven and support in their time of need. We restore their dignity and self esteem and provide them with shelter, counseling, and advocacy, offering a starting point for them to begin to address their problems and create a plan for the future.
Our goal is to provide shelter and support services to homeless women and their children for any of the following reasons:
- Domestic Violence
- Family Problems
We specialize in helping families of South Asian origin or descent such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
With the assistance of our dedicated volunteers, we respond to calls 24/7 at our confidential helpline. Call 1-833-ASHIANA (1-833-274-4262) if you or someone you know is in need of shelter and assistance. If you are facing domestic violence or abuse, we are here to help.
We are always looking for assistance. Learn how to get involved with OAA by volunteering, donating or spreading awareness in the community. All donations to OAA are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by the law.
